Jane has lived and worked in Somerset for 30 years. Although she has had no formal training in art, it has always formed the central point to her life by which she has defined herself.  She has taught painting and portrait clay modelling at SCAT and undertaken many portrait commissions.  Portraiture is her first love, and has always been at the forefront of her work, but she has recently begun to paint landscapes, where she is having great pleasure experimenting with colour and texture.
